A Time to be Thankful

Thanksgiving has come and gone, leftovers are in the fridge, and we are all back to our individual routines.  Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday of the year.  It is the time for us to really reflect on what we are thankful for.  This past week and weekend I was able to be a part of new family traditions and some that we have relied on for many years, like there’s always pecan pie at my family’s Thanksgiving meal.

I am thankful for the time I was able to spend with family and friends and for the meals we were able to eat because of the farmers and ranchers who produced it.  I am thankful for each and every one of you who work year-round to produce the food to feed our families and our world.

Thank you for your support this past year and in the future.  Thank you for bringing grain to our facilities and for allowing us the opportunity to find marketing solutions that work best for you and your operation.

As we continue through the holiday season, we wish you and your families all the best.  We will be having our ProEdge Winter Meetings through December and January. Check out www.cvacoop.com/events for a meeting near you!

The deadline to enroll corn and beans in the Grain Adviser Program is less than two weeks away!  Take advantage of having a third party market your grain over a specified period of time.  Choose to enroll either old crop or new crop corn and beans.  Call your local ProEdge Grain Specialist or Risk Management Consultant for more information.
