This past month we were honored to deliver $1,087,591 in age 65 equity checks to our patrons. I am proud that your cooperative is delivering on its promise to those that own the company. I am a firm believer that farmer owned cooperatives have to do three basic things.
On Monday, April 8th, the CME changed the hours for grain futures trading from the 21 hours per day Sunday – Friday schedule. The new hours that the CME will trade are as follows: Sunday through Thursday open at 7:00 p.m. CST, close at 7:45 a.m. Monday through Friday, reopen at 8:30 a.m. and then close at 1:15 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Your Cooperative is continuing to invest in assets to improve our ability to serve customers, while reducing our long-term debt and strengthening our balance sheet. We are continuing to focus on our core businesses of Grain, Crop Production, Energy and Feed with emphasis on you our customer, innovation and value-based programs, while constantly reviewing and improving our efficiency.

To celebrate the end of the Fiscal 2012 year, United Farmers Cooperative held the Annual Meeting on Monday, November 19, 2012 at the City Auditorium in York and Tuesday, November 20, 2011 at Linn High School in Linn, Kansas.
The Cooperative Finance Association, Inc. recently presented the top ten participating associations for Input Finance Program loan volume with a plaque of recognition. Carl Dickinson and Peggy Hopwood accepted the plaque for UFC.
