(Hinton, IA) – The “Fueling Our Future 100” initiative has been expanded, and this time Central Valley Ag’s Hinton C-Store has been chosen to participate. Recently Iowa Gov. Terry Branstad, Lt. Gov. Kim Reynolds and Sec. of Agriculture Bill Northey announced that the fourth round of the “Fueling Our Future 100” program would support the installation of 15 new blender pumps and three underground storage tanks that can be used to distribute higher blends of renewable fuels. CVA was included in that list and will receive funding assistance with the installation of two new blender pumps at their C-Store in Hinton, Iowa.
Jeff Ingalls, Senior Vice President of Energy at Central Valley Ag was thrilled about the support and opportunities this program continues to bring to Iowa. “CVA is excited to play a role in this program, providing access to renewable fuels for our member-owners in the Hinton area is a great step in the right direction,” said Ingalls. “We will continue to search for innovative opportunities in the energy department not only in Iowa but across our entire trade area.”
“Fueling Our Future 100” is a partnership across state government, including collaboration between the Governor’s office, Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship, Iowa Department of Transportation, and Iowa Economic Development Authority.
