It’s that time of year again where CVA will be offering it’s Free Price Later Program which is also commonly referred to as Delayed Pricing or Deferred Pricing. This program provides a unique opportunity to start moving some corn off the farm and hauling to participating CVA locations, all while not having to worry about the corn accruing storage charges. Additional benefits that this program provides is being able to avoid the long lines as well as reduced and inconsistent hours at the processing plants. Corn that is hauled in as a part of this program will only be shrunk and dried to 15% moisture. All other grades will be subject to CVA’s normal discount schedule. Title of ownership will pass from the producer to CVA upon delivery. Corn will remain free of storage charges through October 31, 2016. If the corn is not priced by that date, it will be subject to a 5 cent service and will begin accruing storage charges on November 1, 2016. The program will begin on Monday, December 21, 2015, and only corn delivered to participating locations from that date forward will be eligible for the program. At the participating locations, the program will be run as space allows and the location reserves the right to shut the program off at any time.
We are happy to announce that we will open up the Price Later Corn Program at four locations on Monday, December 21st. The four locations are Elgin, Hampton, Hordville, and Stromsburg. We anticipate the program to expand in the days and weeks ahead as space is made available at other locations. If you have any questions about the program or are interested in knowing if a location near you is participating in the program, please call your ProEdge Grain Specialist for more information.
We’d like to thank you for your continued support of CVA and wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
