Our CVA Feed Division wants to Team up with You in 2019

December 31, 2018

Happy New Year's Eve! Like many of you, I am wondering where 2018 went and reflecting on everything this year has brought. I am thankful for a smooth calving season with healthy calves that were weaned in Sept. and sold just last week. Harvest lasted longer than desired, but the crops are out, and the cows are on stalks. My horses are enjoying a break from getting hauled to barrel races and mounted shooting competitions and are adjusting well to winter life on the farm checking cows.  Now I am setting goals for myself, as well as goals for you, the customer, to help make 2019 another successful year.

Our Feed Team at Central Valley Ag offers expertise in many areas. From feedlot, cow/calf, and swine operations, our team works hard to help you meet your goals and provide friendly, knowledgeable current information. But did you know our staff also has a vast knowledge of equine, companion animal, exotic and show feeds? Our growing feed sales team works together to help any operation with every animal on the place. A day out in the country that consists of looking at the cattle and talking horses while the dog is begging for attention is a perfect day for me. Our feed team takes great pride in being able to service all your animal needs.
Another service we offer is collecting feed or ingredient samples of homegrown or purchased produce. Being able to ensure the quality being fed to your animals and balancing these diets allows the animals to stay healthy and perform their best. The specialists on our team create rations from start to finish for your operation. We will also work closely with your veterinarians if any issues may develop within the herd.  We care about your success and want to help with that every step of the way.

Please reach out with any questions you may have on any type of animal/pet feed program and let us know how we can help. Also, if you would like more information or have any feed-related events you would like to see in your CVA area, please contact me at brandi.salestrom@cvacoop.com. Or to find a CVA feed specialist in your area, visit our website at www.cvacoop.com and click on the feed page.

I look forward to visiting with you in 2019!
