Feedlot Seminar coming to West Point, NE

A feedlot seminar is coming to the Nielsen Community Center in West Point, NE on Wednesday March 6, 2019. This seminar is open to local feedlot and cattle producers and, as in the past, will cover topics pertaining to all areas of feedlot production. Coffee and rolls will be provided at 9:30 a.m., with the meeting starting at 10:00 a.m. and concluding around 3:00 p.m.  Below are the topics that will be covered during the seminar.

Beyond Lameness: Zinc’s Role in Feedlot Performance, Dr. Alex Thompson

Tracking Performance, Purina and QLF

Performance and Economic Headlines from Benchmark, Dr. Nathan Pyatt

Beef Abate uses Beyond Heat Stress, Purina

Current Events Impacting Feedlot Production, Dr. Jacob Hagenmaier

Lots of Meat: Managing Risk and Basis in the Market, Duane Lenz

As previously stated, this event will be held at the Nielsen Community Center and is hosted by Purina Animal Nutrition, LLC. and Quality Liquid Feeds, with support from Elanco Animal Health, Diamond V and Zinpro Corporation.
