Central Valley Ag (CVA) is proud to present the photo winners of each category: Beauty in Agriculture, Working in Acres, Generations on the Farm and the People’s Choice Award for 2022.

Entries focused on highlighting the many sectors of agriculture were accepted from July 5 through August 5.

“Each year, the CVA photo contest allows people to submit astounding photos surrounding the agriculture industry. We are very impressed with the quality and quantity of the photos we had this year,” said Owen Baker, Senior Vice President of Marketing at CVA.

Facebook users chose Spurgeon’s photo captioned “Hauling grain into the storage facility” as the People’s Choice Award by giving it the most likes, comments, and shares. The photo encompasses a great view of rural life and agriculture.

A panel of judges selected a winner from each of the following three categories.

Sam Williams of Valentine, Neb. won the Beauty in Agriculture category with the photo “A lovely horse grazing at sunset.” In the Working in Acres category, Cody Farrall of Hampton, Neb. won with the submission captioned “grain cart unloading on truck at sunset.” Lastly, the winner of the Generations on the Farm category was Kelly Seier of Petersburg, Neb. Her photo “Learning the ropes” captured the attention of the judges with the vibrant coloring and nice use of leading lines.

All recipients will receive a $100 Visa Gift Card.

“Congratulations to all the winners of this years’ contest,” said Baker, “we encourage everyone to participate next year and show off your unique photos of the agriculture industry.”

All entries may have their photos placed in various CVA media publications.
