Feed Season Supplements and Contracting Offers

Feed season is just around the corner, meaning that it is time to visit with your local feed representative about your supplement needs. Whether you’re preparing to wean calves or just needing to look at your supplement options, CVA has a variety of products available to provide the nutrition your livestock depend on. CVA also has contract offers available to lock in feed pricing now through March 2025. These offers are available for CVA’s stock products, tubs, and custom formulas. Are you looking to wean spring calves and are needing a starter feed to get them off on the right foot? CVA’s Power Inpact Starter is the perfect starter pellet to achieve maximum results. It contains Amaferm and Bovatec at 120 g/ton. The pellet is a 5 lbs. feeding rate while also containing Peleton, Prosper, vitamins, and molasses. 

A product that often goes hand in hand with the Power Inpact Starter is the CVA Power Cow Stress Tub. This tub is intended for use during stressful transition periods, such as weaning, branding, or shipping/receiving. The stress tub is an all-natural tub and contains 18% protein and 6% fat with a full vitamin/mineral pack. We have formulated the tub to include organic trace minerals for higher absorption rates, Amaferm for increased digestion / utilization of feed, Celmanax mos to get rid of unwanted bacteria, as well as Bio – Impact Stress Sheild to encourage consumption and support regular digestive functions. The feeding rate of the Power Cow Stress tub is 0.25 – 0.5 lbs. per head per day.

This cake is based off CVA’s hit 23% DDG Cake. The Power 23 Cake has added BioZyme’s propriety prebiotic, Amaferm for increased digestion and utilization of feed. This allows your cows to get more out of your feedstuffs this winter. CVA also has tub options available for your winter protein supplement needs. Some of the most popular Power Cow protein tub options include the Power Cow 30 – 15, Power Cow 23% All – Natural AMA, and Power Cow 28 All – Natural AMA.
