Central Valley Ag hosts open house at brand new facility in Washington County

Central Valley Ag (CVA) member-owners, community representatives and guests attended an open house held at CVA’s brand new facility, The Junction, on June 6 north of Linn, Kansas. The cooperative used the opportunity to showcase the $10.6 million-dollar grain facility that officially opened Fall of 2018. “With the building of this facility, CVA continues to make a strong commitment to the producers in the area to service their needs today and going forward,” said Bryan Reichmuth, Senior Vice President of Operations at CVA. “We look forward to the opportunity to grow our business and better serve the producers in Washington County and surrounding area.”

Launching #WEARECVA Photo Contest

Calling all creative eyes! Central Valley Ag (CVA) #WEARECVA Photo Contest will be accepting digitally submitted photos from June 3 until July 19, 2019. ‚Äč The purpose of this contest is to positively promote agriculture in all types and stages of various operations. The most liked photo on Central Valley Ag’s Facebook page will be awarded a $100 cash gift card. A panel of judges will select a second photo based on quality and creativity. This photo will also be awarded a $100 cash gift card. Both winners will have their photos placed in various print and online publications, including: Central Valley Ag Website, social media, brochures, and other promotional materials. CVA encourages all customers, employees, and community members to enter the contest by uploading photos to the website:

Central Valley Ag, Henderson Co-op announce merger

Henderson Co-op membership votes to approve unification with Central Valley Ag (CVA). Conducted by a mail-in ballot, the owners of Henderson Co-op approved the merger with CVA by a majority vote of 91.3%. “We are pleased that Henderson Co-op members have voted to unify the two cooperatives. Both Boards feel strongly that this unification will bring additional value to our members,” said Dave Beckman, CVA Board Chairman. “Central Valley Ag has a proud history on which the foundation has been laid for building a promising future of service to its members in agriculture.”

Central Valley Ag (CVA) is excited to announce that CVA Transport (CVAT) driver Rick Sanley as the Koch Fertilizer LLC's Fall 2018 Impact Driver of the Season winner. The terminal in Aurora, Neb. took nominations this fall in search of drivers who were passionate about demonstrating strong values in safety, procedure compliance and awareness. From those nominated, the Koch Fertilizer Aurora Team selected Rick Sanely as the driver who exemplified those topics.
