CVA promotes Doug Clingman to Chief Technology Officer

Central Valley Ag (CVA) is pleased to announce Doug Clingman as Chief Technology Officer. He will be responsible for leading the Technology department at CVA, focused on improving and advancing technology for employees and member-owners. Clingman began his career with CVA, then Farmway Cooperative, in November of 2014 as the Director of Information Technology after leaving active duty in United States Army. He continued to serve and was deployed overseas twice while in the United States Army Reserve.  Clingman served 18 years in the US Army and CVA supported his service for 6 of those years. Most recently, he has held the titles of General Manager of Ag Solutions IT and Director of Information Services before transitioning to this new role.

CVA’s Technology team’s primary objectives are to support the cooperative’s operations, enhance efficiency, and drive innovation through the effective use of technology.  This is accomplished through maintaining an exceptional level of support for employees, IT infrastructure management, integration development, data management, analytics, and cyber security, all with a focus on Digital Transformation. CVA’s Technology team is exploring emerging technologies in the rapidly changing technology landscape to assess how it can be leveraged to enhance operations, improve our customer experience and drive innovation across the organization.

Clingman will be moving from CVA’s Beloit, Kan. location and begin officing out of the York, Neb. location. He enjoys house projects, working on automobiles, and research. Often times he finds himself enjoying documentaries or reading research papers related to technology.
