CVA Empyrean
CVA Empyrean sets the gold standard as a year-round equine feed solution, designed to support horses throughout their lives. Crafted by Kentucky Equine Research with meticulous care, Empyrean boasts a powerful blend of nutritional elements, with Amaferm at its core, to optimize equine health and performance.
Feed Products
CVA runs and operates mills within our footprint where we produce proven formula feeds for swine, cattle, poultry, equine and specialty feeds. Along with custom feed, CVA also sales retail bagged feed.
CVA’s Feed Mills are compliant with the FDA’s Food Safety Modernization ACT (FSMA) and follow the Hazard Analysis of Critical Control Points of HACCP system. Livestock producers getting feed out of CVA feed mills can rest assured that feed quality and service from CVA facilities is second to none in the industry.
Feed Services
Our Feed Sales Specialists work with feedlot, cow/calf, swine, and poultry producers, as well as companion animal owners to create nutrition programs that best fits their needs. Our services include ration balancing, feed sample analysis, feed programs, and body condition scoring. Our team also assists with feed orders to help your operation achieve the best results and profit possible.
Specialty NAE Feed Production
The CVA Duncan Feed Mill is a Non-Antibiotic Ever (NAE) facility, dedicated to producing high-quality specialty feeds that meet the highest standards for antibiotic-free livestock production. At this facility, we do not use antibiotics, anti-bloat medications, anti-cocciddials, beta-agonists, hormonoes or ionophores in any of our feed formulations. Our commitment to maintaining a strictly controlled production environment ensures that producers can trust our feeds to align with NAE programs and other specialized feeding requirements.
Feed Safety Certification
CVA Feed is FSMA compliant and inspected by FDA at all nine mills - Nebraska: Ainsworth, Elgin, Daykin, Duncan, Scribner and Utica; Iowa: Hinton and Oyens; and Kansas: Clifton. In addition, Clifton, Elgin, Oyens, Scribner and Utica are HACCP compliant. Ainsworth, Duncan and Hinton are HACCP certified.
