CVA launches #WEARECVA Photo Contest

Central Valley Ag (CVA) cooperative launches its first #WEARECVA Photo Contest.The #WEARECVA Photo Contest is accepting photo entries now through July 20, 2018. The photo contest is designed to highlight all facets of agriculture using vivid imagery.

Photos may include but are not limited to subjects such as harvest, planting, ranching, forage, agribusiness, agriculture communications, and family life in agriculture.

Three winners will be selected by an internal panel of judges and awarded $100 cash gift cards. One People’s Choice Award winner will also be recognized and awarded a $100 cash gift card.  Winners will also receive special placement in select print and online publications, including: CVA website, social media, brochures, postcards and other materials.

Once submitted, photos will be placed in the “#WEARECVA Photo Contest” Album on the CVA Facebook page. The People’s Choice award will be given to the single most photo that is liked, shared and commented on Facebook.

All entries must be uploaded through this webpage: and follow the on-screen instructions. There is no time or date restriction on when the image was taken. Accepted file types include JPEGs, PNG and TIFF. Minimum file size requirements are 2,000 pixels on the longest edge. No hard copy submissions will be accepted.

By submitting images to this competition, the entrant certifies that they have all rights to the photographs and that they grant CVA permission to use these images in promotional materials including but not limited to print, website and social media.
