SAFETY

Central Valley Ag is committed to providing an environment that is safe for employees and customers. The internal audit program, CVA All-In, was implemented in 2015 to help the CVA safety team coach locations towards CVA’s ultimate goal of having zero workplace accidents. The purpose of the All-In audit program is to provide a roadmap and tools for preventing workplace injuries and improving safety overall. 

CVA also has five Emergency Response Rescue Teams, made up of employee volunteers, strategically placed throughout our territory. In the event they may be needed in our rural communities, CVA Rope Rescue Teams are on-hand to assist. 




 

SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

The Central Valley Ag Scholarship Program is to assist the further education of students of CVA member-owners and CVA employees interested in pursuing higher education in an agriculturally related field. CVA will offer (16) $1,000 scholarships to students of CVA member-owners and (4) $1,000 scholarships to students of CVA employees.
 
The 2019-2020 CVA Scholarship Program is now open for applications. Deadline is March 2, 2020.

INTERNSHIPS

The Central Valley Ag internship program was established in 2011 to provide opportunities to students with interest in the agricultural industry. Hiring interns is a great way for CVA to get to know the next generation of leaders. CVA builds a strong relationship with students during their twelve-week internship, in the end hoping to hire these talented individuals as full-time employees.
 
Our interns have the opportunity to explore career paths and job duties throughout Central Valley Ag. This includes, but is not limited to working with our outstanding sales team, grain marketing experts, operations managers and top of the line agronomists.
